Communion Sunday—Next Week!
Every monthly communion Sunday we collect non-perishable food, clothing in good condition, unopened toiletry items, toys in like-new condition, and other donations that will be taken to local ministries for distribution.
Special Guest Speakers!!
In July we will be taking a short break from Pastor Cameron’s Galatians series to enjoy messages from some very special guests. On July 3rd we will host Dennis Sager from Hope International Fellowship, our sister church in Japan, and on July 10th we will welcome Scott and Stephanie Jones, pastors of our New Day church plant in South Carolina. The last 3 weeks in July, Graham McKeague will be teaching on the book of Ephesians.
Hearing God Class
Mark Morris and Bill Menser, leaders at New Day, will be leading this class on an essential aspect of the Christian walk–Hearing God’s Voice. Come out on Saturday, July 9th from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM to learn the why and how of listening to our Father’s voice and applying this skill to our daily lives! This class is free and open to anyone; childcare will be provided. Also, this class is required for serving on many ministry teams at New Day, so if you are interested in serving now or in the future, this class is for you!
Summer of (Loose) Change
This summer Kids’ Church and RUSH members are having a friendly competition while collecting change for Chrislin, our sponsored Haiti orphan. Please help the cause by donating your change (and bills!). At the end of August, we’ll let you know which class collects the most! THANK YOU!
Youth Retreat— August 26-27!
This year New Day will be returning to Camp Beechpoint for an awesome time of getting closer to Jesus! The total cost is $55, and a $10 non-refundable deposit is due TODAY! Reserve your spot by placing your deposit in an offering envelope marked “Retreat.”
Self-Defense Class
Lacey Eckert is hosting a Women’s Self Defense class on Tuesdays July 12th – Aug 30th from 6:00-8:00 PM. The cost is a one time fee of $20 which can be designated on an offering envelope or given to Lacey. To sign up or if you have any questions, talk to Lacey.

An awesome outreach opportunity is coming July 11th-14th: Jesus Loves Kzoo Grill & Prayer Nights! Katie Duke would like to organize meals to bless his parents Kendra and Jeff Johnson and their family during this painful time. Please call Katie if you would like to be involved in helping this family out with a meal. Also, please keep them in your prayers as they go though this emotional and difficult time of grief.

Come out to spend a night of Worship with Laura Shockley! She has missed corporate worship due to recovery from illness, so we want to invite you all to come out and worship with us at her home! Jesus Loves Kzoo is a united effort among Christ-following churches in the area. We are partnering together to increase the IMPACT to our city as we FLOOD Kalamazoo with the LOVE of the LORD JESUS CHRIST! Coordinated by Vanguard Street Ministries, this will be the fourth year of holding “Jesus Loves Kzoo Grill & Prayer Nights” from 5 PM – 8 PM Mon-Thurs during one week this summer. Free food is given to anyone who comes and prayer teams spread out and minister on the streets. If you love Jesus and want to see His Kingdom reign in our city you can volunteer your time or donate supplies. For more information, contact Tori Webb.

Durai is dealing with a detached retina that is causing loss of vision in one eye. The couple is expecting their first child in June and needs over $900 for the delivery. Raising money for Rahki and Durai
This is a precious missionary couple that Heather Hays met during her time at the Toronto School of Ministry. They are in India and need some heavenly financial intervention. Durai is dealing with a detached retina that is causing him to lose his vision in one eye. The couple is expecting their first child in the first part of June and needs 40 thousand rupees ($904.00 American dollars) for the delivery. If God compels your heart to support this couple please see Heather Hays or Carrie Hays.
