Life Groups

The purpose of Life Groups are to be the church through Fellowship, Discipleship and Outreach. Every group has at least one of these as a focus—most are a combination! Everyone is encouraged to participate in at least one group, and may join several. “Semesters” last 4 months, then we have a sign-up Sunday for a new set of Life Groups, but you may join at any time.

RUN!

Runners, Aspiring Runners, and walkers meet to walk/run for 40 min, and then hang out at a coffee shop or home to talk about the sport and anything else we wish to!
8 AM to 9:30 AM, Every other Saturday morning

College & Career

A group for 18, 19, and 20-somethings. Includes Jesus, community, and food.
Sundays, 7:00pm at the Iglesia

Dance!

Explores dance: interpretive, in the bible, choreographed and spontaneous.  Open to anyone 5 yrs and older.
Saturdays, 11:00am-12:15pm at New Day

Sonflower Creations

Knitting/crocheting for charity–don’t have to know how, we can teach. Projects will be donated to the many organizations in need. Some will be sold and the money sent to Burger Orphanage in Haiti. Will meet weekly, praying for our skill and those who recieve our works.

New Testament in 90 Days

Following a 90 Day new testament daily reading plan, we will meet face to face once a month and online weekly to discuss and support one another.
Monday evenings, Face to face: 2nd Monday of the month, September 13th through December 13, Online: Monday nights at 7 PM

Women’s SPA Group

SPA = Supplying Positive Affirmation.  A women’s group dedicated to developing deeper friendships with women at New Day.
1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7:00-9:00pm at New Day

Mom’s Playgroup

Playgroup meeting weekly for children to build relational/social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills with other children and for moms to connect with other moms in fellowship (advice, socializing, relationship building).  Includes a small structured activity time (hopefully a different mom will lead each time) for 15-30 minutes (10:30-11:00), followed by free play time for the kids for an hour.  Families can pack and bring a lunch to eat afterwords together but is not required, which ends the playgroup time.  Plus, one (optional) scheduled field trip to the cider mill in the Fall (October?).

Tuesdays from 10AM-12PM; Location will vary depending on number of participants and places visited

Men’s Group

Meet for discussion and fellowship, also will do outreach/service projects.
Saturday Mornings 2x/month, New Day & Other locations

Prophetic Arts Group

In this life group we will be exploring the creative arts and the prophetic. We will be focusing on the fine arts and sharpening our skills in that area. But also learning more about God’s creativity and the Holy Spirit. If you are curious about what the artists have been doing at the front of the church come to this life group and see what happens.
Meeting weekly at the Iglesia (632 Locust St.), day and time to be determined.

Healing Life Group

Discover Biblical truth about faith for physical healing that removes doubts caused by traditional thinking, learn exciting tools that ignite faith, enjoy fellowship.
Tues Nights for 10 weeks, possible childcare at New Day, Meet at Browers

Kingdom Foundations Life Group

Establishing the Kingdom of God in the core of who you are.
Beginning Mid October, 8 weeks, once a week. Meets at the Iglesia (632 Locust St.)

Choir

Our group will meet once a week to rehearse music w/ the culmination of the life group doing a performance at the Christmas Party.
Sundays at 5 PM at New Day

Fun Marrieds

Hangout time with other couples.  Time to unwind and chat with friends or play games with great snacks.
