Communion Sunday November 1st!
Join us as we celebrate Communion together at both services. Children will participate with us in worship and communion, then be dismissed to their classes.
Exciting Changes!
New Day has officially begun two Sunday morning services! First Service begins at 9:30, Second at 11:15. Nursery and Kid’s Ministry are available during both services; Prayer and Prophetic ministries will follow each service. Join us in the Family Room (behind the sanctuary) for Intersection—a time of refreshments and fellowship between services!
Kid’s Coat Swap
Continues through November 8th. Please place your winter outerwear on the appropriate tables, marked with your name. Shop during Intersection or after second service and take whatever you need! This is a wonderful opportunity to bless others and meet your family’s needs. Contact Carrie Miller if you have questions.
New Nursery Call Numbers:
New call numbers have been assigned for the nursery-age children. If your child fits this category, please pick up your call number reminder sheet at the appropriate nursery. Thank you.
Christmas Party—Getting Closer!!
As the weather is turning colder and October is behind us, it’s time to start getting excited about the New Day Christmas Party! This years event will include a delicious dinner followed by a talent show. Mark your calendars for December 12, and start preparing your act!! New Day is officially changing to two Sunday morning services, beginning October 25th! This will allow us to accommodate more guests, and to provide better ministry for our children. There will be many challenges as well as many opportunities with this change, and your input is needed in this process. If you haven’t yet had a chance to indicate your service time preference, please do so now.
Spaghetti Fundraiser TODAY!
The Dance Life Group is sponsoring a Spaghetti Lunch meal to help Tori and Emily Wright raise funds for the Japan Mission Trip. Please plan on enjoying lunch after service today. Donations will be gratefully accepted, but even if you are unable to give you are welcome to attend.
Supernatural Firestorm Weekend
BE ACTIVATED, ENCOURAGED, AND RELEASED IN GOD’S SUPERNATURAL POWER! Kevin Dedmon is on staff at Bethel Church in Redding, CA and the author of “The Ultimate Treasure Hunt”. He will be bringing a team of 10 students from Bethel School Of Supernatural Ministry to New Song Community Church in Commerce Township, MI. Friday, October 23 at 7PM, Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10AM for Pastors and Ministry Leaders, 1PM Treasure Hunt, 6PM Service, and Sun. Oct. 25 at 10:10AM and 6PM. Katie Duke is looking for a green square pitcher/vase that went home with someone with flowers in it after Nancy & Al’s wedding. Please return it to the church or call Katie Duke.

Please check out the Lost and Found table in the Family Room today after service to find any lost items. Items not taken will be donated to charity.
Paid Child Care Workers Needed
Third Reformed is in need of adults to work in their nursery while women attend a weekly Bible study. These are paid positions of $25 a day on Tuesdays from 8:45-11:15. If you are interested contact Mary Shaffer at 353-4825 (or Angie Moore). Starting immediately and lasting through the school year.

Sign Up Now!!
New Day is hosting a whole church event at VerHage Cider Mill on Saturday, October 17 from 10:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. We will begin with a free hayride at 10:30, then enjoy a picnic lunch (bring your own or purchase food there). Cider and doughnuts and some group games are provided. VerHage also offers optional children’s activities for an additional fee. Pick up a map and schedule of events at the connection counter, and if you haven’t already, sign up on the Connection Card on Sunday the 11th.
