Boersma Farewell
Next week, Feb. 15 will be the Boersma’s last week. They are moving to South Carolina to join the Joneses who are starting a church. A cake reception will immediately follow the service.
Moving Help Appreciated
The Boersma’s are moving 2/14 and would love help loading the moving truck. Their address is 3931 West F Ave. Please call Amy(599-1601) to RSVP. They do not know when the truck will come so call to find out the loading time the day before. Also, the week previous, help with packing would be welcome.
Life Group Leaders Meeting
For all considering leading a life group for the March-August semester. This mandatory meeting is set for Sunday Feb. 22, after the service. Please sign up on the Connection Card if you are interested.
Men’s Retreat
Hey guys!! Get ready for an exciting weekend of White Water Rafting in West Virginia. Sign up on the Connection Card to reserve your spot. The dates are May 21-24. The cost will be around $170 and includes food there. $62 is required in advance by Feb. 22. Make checks payable to New Day and put it in the offering indicating “Men’s Retreat.” For questions contact Eric Luthy.

A Year of Giving
Every Sunday of 2009 we will give away a gift! To participate:
- You can designate part of your offering to the Weekly Gift fund by writing it on the offering envelope.
- You can bring in a gift that you want to donate to the weekly give away, or you can bring in a gift for someone specific (at least one week prior).
- You can use this as an opportunity to bless others by giving.

Parenting Class
Week 4 of the 9-week parenting class is continuing this Tuesday at 7pm. Effective Parenting in a Defective World by Chip Ingram is a video based series that will consist of a 30 min. video and a 30 min. discussion. Childcare will be provided! Anyone is welcome!
