Angel Food orders for March will be taken after service today! The deadline for this month’s orders is March 15th.
Coming Out of the Gray
Ever wonder where your life is heading? Do you sometimes feel like you might have missed your path in life? Do you wish that someone out there would give you a compass to help you find your way? Then come and join us Monday, March 2nd (tomorrow!) at 7 here at New Day as Carrie Hays leads a discussion about finding your life in Christ. Child care will be provided.
Alternatives Auction

Men’s Retreat Money
To those of you who signed up for the men’s retreat, the cost will be around $170 and includes food there. Reminder: $62 was due last week! Please get your money in ASAP. Talk on Islam
Walid Shoebat and Kamal Saleem, two ex-Palestinian terrorists who converted to Christianity, are coming to Western on March 10th, 2009 (7-10 pm at Miller Auditorium) to speak about Islam, terrorism, and the Israel-Palestinian conflict. These remarkable men have a deep faith that has led them to risk their lives to condemn terrorism and now they raise awareness about these important issues by offering deep insights into this ongoing conflict. Monday Feb. 23 at 7pm. Come join us for a night of prophetic worship, prayer ministry and soaking. This is a time to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us into new experiences with Him.

Angel Food Pick-Up
The Angel Food distribution day is this Saturday, the 28th, from 10 to 11 am here at church. Be sure to come pick up your orders! March orders will be accepted from now until March 15th.
“Focus on Life” Dinner
Kalamazoo Right to Life is sponsoring their annual benefit “Focus on Life” dinner for Right to Life of Michigan’s Educational Fund on Tuesday, March 24, 2009, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at John T. Bernhard Center, WMU. The program starts at 7:00 p.m. The speaker is Clarke Forsythe, from Americans United for Life. Please call 372-8123 by March 20th to reserve your tickets, which are $35 each.
Please Remember:
The chairs in the sanctuary are not to be moved or rearranged unless specific permission is granted in advance. There is ample room in the Family room for freedom to move and gather in any way, (please return it to the order you found it (normally 3 tables with 6 chairs each) as well. If additional chairs are needed there are more in the cubicle storage area.

They do not know when the truck will come so call to find out the loading time the day before. Also, the week previous, help with packing would be welcome.

Every Sunday of 2009 we will give away a gift! To participate:
- You can designate part of your offering to the Weekly Gift fund by writing it on the offering envelope.
- You can bring in a gift that you want to donate to the weekly give away, or you can bring in a gift for someone specific (at least one week prior).
- You can use this as an opportunity to bless others by giving.

Farewell Frentheways!
Today is the Frentheways last Sunday. Please join us in the Family Room after service for a cake reception. Please also sign the book on the podium with notes and well wishes for them.
Communion Sunday
Please join us as we celebrate Communion today. The children will be dismissed to Kids Church following worship.
Moving Help Needed
The Frentheway’s are moving and are in need of some help to load one large U-Haul. Date: February 4th Location: 1321 Howard St. Kalamazoo Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (The truck will be there after 2:00 p.m. so you can come help before six if you would like) Also someone is needed who can help care for Isaac and Grant during the day February 4th, as well as a few hours here and there the few days before the move. Free Cat!
Please help! The Boersma’s are moving in 3 weeks and would like to find a new home for their cat since they are renting. “Headlight,” the cat, is used to living outdoors but would not mind being an inside cat. If you would like a lovely cat who is great with children, or know someone who would, please call Amy at 599-1601.
