Jim & Shirley Conway, of Breakthrough Ministries, have been full-time intercessors for nearly 7 years and have learned how to delve deeper into a ministry and life of prayer and intercession. They also minister in supernatural healing prayer as well as prophetic ministry. They are full of love and joy and desire to impart what they have learned. The school will help those just learning how to pray, and seasoned intercessors, how to go farther and see more breakthroughs in prayer.
► Sunday, Monday & Tuesday (Sept. 28, 29 & 30) each night at 7:00 PM
► No registration is required (offerings will be received each service).

School of Prayer – Sunday Morning

Wow, summer is over and we are well into fall. I am constantly amazed at how fast life progresses. I am also delighting in the beauty of autumn in Michigan.
Over the next month we have a lot happening here at New Day, and I want everyone to be aware of what is going on. I also ask for your prayers during this eventful season.
This Sunday, September 28th we kick off the three day School of Prayer. Jim and Shirley Conway of Breakthrough Ministries will minister Sunday morning and then teach three evening meetings beginning at 7 PM, Sunday through Tuesday. I hope you can make these times as I am sure they will be great.
The following Sunday, October 5th, we will celebrate Communion as it is the first Sunday of the month. Let’s come ready to receive an impartation of God’s grace. I have a sense that there will be a powerful anointing for healing. Wouldn’t it be amazing if EVERYONE was here for this service!
Sunday, October 12th, I will be in Toronto for our annual Partners In Harvest Conference. I am honored to be part of the leadership of our international association of churches and have to be there prior to the conference for several days of leadership meetings. Graham McKeague will minister while I’m in Toronto, so I am confident the service will be awesome!
I will return on Thursday and leave again on Saturday, October 18th, with the Japan Mission team. I along with the team will travel to Japan to do prayer walking and intercession, along with ministry at Hope International Fellowship. Dennis and Kaku Sager are once again looking forward to hosting a team from New Day. While I’m gone Adam Shockley will preach on Sunday, October 19th. And Ron and Kim Cipcic from Grand River Church in Grand Rapids, will minister on Sunday October 26th. Again I am confident that both of these Sundays will be services that will bless you abundantly.
While I’m away Adam Shockley, who with Terra his wife are the Youth Pastors, here at New Day will be in charge of the Church. They along with Sarah Gerber, the church administrator, and the Board of Directors – Chip Hines, Jerry Burch and Seth Gerber, are all well able to help with anything that may arise. Kathie, my wife, will also be here and will be in contact with me if anything should come up. We now have someone in the church office Monday through Fridays from noon to 5 PM, so if there are needs someone will be here to help.
I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed time and may this next season bring increased faithfulness and fruitfulness in all our lives.

Tuesday 9/30 at 7:00 pm — Healing Prayer
Tonight at 7pm, Jim & Shirley Conway will speak about “Breakthrough Prayer in the Financial Realm” and on “Six Different Kinds of Prayer.” Tuesday night, they will speak on a topic called “World Changers.” This will be a Biblical look at how God used ordinary people to impact and change the course of their cities, their nation, and their world. Shirley will also be giving her personal testimony, sharing her own struggles regarding prayer and intercession. Tuesday night they will focus on “Healing Prayer,” regarding both physical and inner healing, and make plenty of time for people to practice what they’ve learned as well as impartation and the laying on of hands. Each night they will make themselves available for personal prayer and impartation after the services. Childcare is available from 7 to 9 pm with a fee of $3 per child each evening with a $10 per family cap.

Angel Food Information
Orders for October Angel Food will be taken in the Family Room following the service, today, Oct. 5 and 12th. All Angel Food volunteers! A Pizza Party is being planned for Sat. Oct. 25th right after distribution. Please see Dave & Pat Musall to let them know if you will attend for the amount of pizza to order. This program would not be able to run if it weren’t for all of your help and we would like to thank all of you who so generously donate your time to make this program a success!
Sanctuary Chairs
Please remember: The chairs in the sanctuary are not to be moved or rearranged unless specific permission is granted in advance. There is ample room in the Family room for freedom to move and gather in any way, (please return it to the order you found it (normally 3 tables with 6 chairs each) as well. If additional chairs are needed for anything there are more in the cubicle storage area.

Sunday 9/21/08 we will discuss our new Fusion Ministry. Pastor Cameron will interview Bill and Marilee Menser, who are overseeing this ministry, and Sarah and Seth Gerber, who have helped the Mensers develop the idea.
The Fusion Ministry is about ensuring that everyone, from first time guests to long time members, are fully engaged participants at New Day and are in growing healthy relationships.

Nursery Meeting
A Nursery Staff Meeting/Meal will be after the service today. Nursery staff and their families are encouraged to attend. Nursery policy and procedures will be reviewed.
Building Use
Anytime the church building is going to be used it MUST get onto the church calendar. New Day will have a booth at WMU’s Bronco Bash this year and we need you! If you attend New Day, can smile, and hand out information, then you are qualified to help represent your church!
