Building Community

Dietrich Bonhoeffer in his book Life Together says, “Christianity means community through Jesus Christ and in Jesus Christ.”
Jesus said in Matthew 16:18, “I will build my church (literally a community of those called out) and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”

Community Part Two sermon notes (from 3/9/08) – We examine the role of spiritual gifts in the context of Biblical community.

Community Part Three — Love without hypocrisy – We look at Romans 12:9 in the context of building a Biblical community.

Community Part Four — Be devoted to one another – We look at Romans 12:10 and consider the Biblical command to love one another.  We also look at seven reasons why some of us find it hard to go deep in our relationships.

Lifegroup Sign Up

Sign up for Life Groups this Sunday (3/30/08) and next Sunday (4/6/08).

Life Groups are a great way to connect with others in the Church and to grow spiritually.  They are also great opportunities to invite friends that may not have a church home.

We will have about twelve different groups to choose from this session, so come ready to check out all the tables and decide which group (or groups) you want to be involved in.

Resurrection Sunday (Easter)
